Riding Lessons

Here at HorseSisters we are also proud to offer able-bodied riding lessons to riders of all ages and weights. We offer instruction in both Western and English riding styles, and cover topics such as Hunter/Jumper, Show Jumping, Dressage, Eventing, Western Pleasure, and games.

We have developed a tried and true method of teaching with both our riders and horses in mind. A well-rounded student will not only know how to ride, but will learn essential horse care, stable management, and basic horsemanship skills.

Classes are limited in size, and private lessons are available for those with special needs.

Our qualified riding instructor will cater a lesson schedule to fit your needs, with your future riding goals in mind.  Our lesson program can be tailored to whatever your equine needs are, whether just wanting to trail ride with friends or whether you are wanting to step your competition riding up to the next level.

We accept students as young as 6, and have draft horses that can accommodate riders of almost any weight.

Clairese at horsesisters@aol.com or call 321.267.2929

At age 45, Clairese received her Certification as a Riding Instructor from the Certified Horsemanship Association at her very first CHA clinic on March 31, 2000 at the Woodlands Camp in Monteverde, FL. Scoring a Three with Level Four the highest attainment possible, in Western Instruction, she scored a Level Two of Four in English Instruction after riding English the first time at age 42.  I chose not to jump.  My noble steed was Romeo, a 9 year old 17 hand TB who was grumpy and bared his teeth at girth time, which is but one of the symptoms of having Equine Infectious Anemia.  All the horses at Woodlands were EIA positive - and he was retired at F.R.I.E.N.D.S. in South Florida to become one of Debbie's favorite mounts as well. Amazing teaching and learning experiences with CHA, I recommend them highly.  Celebrating 45 years in 2012, click on their logo below on the right to visit their website and learn more about becoming certified.

Disclaimer: I have NOT kept my CHA certification up due to funds only. Experience & training has continued in all aspects.
